Brian J. Hogan and his wife, Kristen, sold their four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 2071 Hunters Field Rd. in Kirkwood for $745,000 to Jeffrey and Julie Hutson on Nov. 8.

The Hogans paid $315,000 for the home in Nov. 1992.

Mr. Hogan is the president of Hogan Motor Leasing in St. Louis. He took over operations of the family-owned business with his two brothers in the mid 1980s. The company leases and rents refrigerated trucks, sleeper trucks, day cabs and straight trucks.

Kirkwood home sales have dropped 141 percent through September 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, has remained the same at $210,000.

Median sales prices in Kirkwood rose steadily from 1999 to 2005 before dropping in 2006, according to BlockShopper Metrics, which began keeping track in 1999.
