Isaak Dore and his wife, Caroline Toft, bought a six-bedroom, five bath at 29 Lake Forest Dr. in Richmond Heights for $999,999 from Dr. Bruce Lexon and his wife, Alesha, on Nov. 7.

The Lexons paid $900,000 for the home in June 2003.

Mr. Dore is a law professor at the Saint Louis University School of Law. He joined the faculty in May 1983 and served as the co-director of the school's Center for International and Comparative Law from 1992-2000.

Prior to joining the faculty at SLU, he spent five years on the faculty at Southern Illinois University. He has also served as a Human Rights Officer for the United Nations, a lecturer at the University of Zambia School of Law and the Editor-in-Chief of the St. Louis-Warsaw Transatlantic Law Journal.

He earned his J.D. from Yale Law School (1978) and also has LL.M. degrees from Yale and the University of Zambia School of Law.

Dr. Luxon is a professor and the Division Director for Gastroenterology-Hepatology for the University of Iowa Health Care system in Iowa City. He was hired for the position in July 2006, and specializes in autoimmune hepatitis, cholestatic liver diseases and hepatitis C.

The Waterloo, Iowa native spent 12 years on the faculty at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and served as the director of the GI Fellowship Training Program while with the school.

He earned his M.D. from the University of Missouri in Columbia (1985) and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the school in 1983. He earned his bachelor's in Mathematics from the University of Iowa.

Home sales in Richmond Heights are down about nine percent this year versus last. Median home sale prices are also lagging, down four percent or $9,000 to $216,000 through September.

According to BlockShopper Metrics median home sales have been rising steadily since 1999 before dipping slightly in 2006.
