Dr. David Isenhour and his wife, Nancy, sold their four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 3540 Bouquet Rd. in Wildwood for $335,000 to Charles and Amy Justus on Nov. 27.

The Isenhours paid $301,000 for the home in June 2004.

Margie Medelberg of Prudential Alliance real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $349,900.

Dr. Isenhour in an entomologist and works for the Monsanto Company, the St. Louis agricultural giant. He leads the company's ex-US operations for developing transgenic corn products and the project management team for the company's product pipelines across the corn business teams. He also leads all North American testing and evaluation for pathology and entomology in corn product development.

He also serves as an adjunct professor on the faculty in the Department of Entomology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

He was previously employed with the DeKalb Genetics Corporation in DeKalb, Ill., Pioneer Hi Bred International in Johnston, Iowa and was a former assistant and associate professor of entomology at the University of Georgia's Coastal Plain Station.

He earned his Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of Kentucky (1980) and his master's in Entomology from the University of Missouri ('77). He received his bachelor's in Biology from Eastern Kentucky University ('75).

Home sales in Wildwood dropped 20 percent through Nov. 30, 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, rose $10,000, from $355,000 to $365,000.

According to BlockShopper Metrics, median home sales prices in Wildwood have risen steadily since 1999.
