Kirk Norris and his wife, Christine, bought a five-bedroom, 4.5 bath in Frontenac at 10 Countryside Ln. for $1.34 million from Roger B. Walcott Jr. and his wife, Karen, on Nov. 27.

The Walcotts bought the property in Feb. 2004 for $980,000.

Jiggs Dunn of Prudential Alliance has listed the 4,952 square foot home for $1.375 million. It was built in 1938 and remodeled in 1994.

Mr. Norris is vice president of operations for the packaging group at Anheuser-Busch, Inc.

Mr. Walcott was recently named executive vice president in charge of Australian operations at Peabody Energy Corp., the world's largest private-sector coal company. He's been with the company since 1998, when he joined as an executive vice president from the Boston Consulting Group, where he was a senior VP.

Mr. Walcott earned an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Mr. Walcott paid $2.4 million for a home just up the street at 32 Countryside Ln. on Oct. 16, 2007.

Home Sales in Frontenac were up eight percent through November 2007 versus 2006. However during that time median home sale prices fell 15 percent to $610,000 from $715,000 the previous year.

Other than slight dips in 2000 and 2002, median sale prices in Frontenac had been rising steadily since BlockShopper Metrics began tracking data in 1999.
