The 2,205 square foot home was built in 1951.

Dr. Marden is a dentist with Marden Dental, a family dentistry clinic in St. Louis. She has also served on the board of directors at the Washington University Dental School in St. Louis.

Mr. Marden works for River City Cuckoo Clocks, a clock company based in St. Louis.

Home sales in Kirkwood dropped 26 percent through Nov. 30, 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, went up $6,000, from $205,000 to $211,000.

Median sales prices in Kirkwood rose steadily from 1999 to 2005 before dropping in 2006, according to BlockShopper Metrics, which began keeping track in 1999.
