David McNutt and his wife, Linda, bought a five-bedroom, five bath at 7280 Christopher Dr. in Oakville for $1.15 million from Sherri J. Steffens on Nov. 19.

Steffens paid $355,000 for the home in June 2001.

Nancy Gordon of Realty Executives of St. Louis was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $1.495 million.

Mr. McNutt is the owner of the Laclede Cab Company in St. Louis. The company, which offers 24-hour taxicab service throughout the St. Louis area, was founded in 1946.

Mrs. McNutt is a private restorative yoga teacher.

Home sales in Oakville dropped 21 percent through Nov. 30, 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period also slipped $15,000, from $225,000 to $210,000.

Median sales prices in Oakville have risen steadily from 1999, according to BlockShopper Metrics.
