Robert F. Dwornick bought a four-bedroom, 4.5 bath in Wildwood at 18627 Charlevoix Ln. for $1.425 million from Fredrick and Linda Wark on Nov. 20.

The Warks bought the property in 1998 for $170,000 and built the house in 2000.

Kristi and JT Monschein of Prudential Alliance Realtors listed the 3,636 square foot home for $1.475 million.

Mr. Dwornick is an attorney in St. Louis. In the past, he served as vice president and general counsel at Omniplex, a now-defunct telecommunications firm.

In 2001, Mr. Wark served as interim president of the Downtown St. Louis Partnership, a civic organization promoting the downtown area.

The Warks bought a home at 1343 Katsura Ct. in Wildwood for $530,000 last November

Home sales in Wildwood dropped 20 percent through Nov. 30, 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, rose $10,000, from $355,000 to $365,000.

According to BlockShopper Metrics, median home sales prices in Wildwood have risen steadily since 1999.
