Financial advisor buys Chesterfield 4BD

Pamela Abercrombie and Daniel Capps bought a four-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 2 Chesterfield Lakes Rd. in Chesterfield for $582,827 from Gerard Huth on Dec. 6.

Huth paid $360,000 for the home in June 1996.

Margaret Liggett of Laura McCarthy real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $600,000.

Ms. Abercrombie is a financial advisor for Walnut Street Securities, an advisory and consulting firm in St. Louis. She has worked for the company since Aug. 2001.

She previously served as the senior vice president of Capaha Bank in Cape Girardeau.

She earned her bachelor's in Business from Southeast Missouri State University (1998).

Home sales in Chesterfield dropped 23 percent through Nov. 30, 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, rose $15,000, from $335,000 to $350,000.

Median sales prices have risen steadily in Chesterfield since BlockShopper Metrics began keeping track in 1999.
