Steve Breihan bought a three-bedroom, three bath at 7501 Cromwell Dr. in Clayton for $420,000 from Dr. Debra Gusnard on Dec. 4.

Gusnard paid $295,000 for the home in Jan. 1997.

Breihan is a real estate agent in the Town and Country office of Coldwell Banker Gundaker. The St. Louis native has been a licensed realtor since 1986.

He sold a two-bedroom, two bath at 21 Southridge Dr. in Glendale for $435,000 on Nov. 19.

Dr. Gusnard is a assistant professor of radiology and psychiatry in the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at the Washington University School of Medicine.

Clayton home sales dropped 43 percent through November 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, rose $37,000 from $511,000 in 2006 to $548,000.

Median sales prices have risen steadily in Clayton since 2002, according to BlockShopper Metrics.
