Steven Foristal and his wife, Katherine, bought a four-bedroom, two bath at 298 Edwin Ave. in Glendale for $322,500 from Daryl and Teresa Gehbauer on Dec. 19.

The Gehbauers paid $128,000 for the property in 1988.

Alex Tilford of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $329,900.

Mr. Foristal is an attorney in the St. Louis office of national law firm Armstrong Teasdale. He is a member of the firm's corporate services group, specializing in securities, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law.

He has also previously worked as a financial analyst with the Boeing Company.

He earned his J.D. from the Saint Louis University School of Law (2007) and his bachelor's in Finance and Economics from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala. ('01).

Mr. Gehbauer has worked as the vice president of finance and administration at May Design and Construction in St. Louis.

Home sales in Glendale dropped nine percent through Nov. 30, 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, rose $18,000 from $260,000 to $278,000.

According to BlockShopper Metrics, median home sales prices in Glendale rose steadily from 1999-2004 before dropping in 2005. It rose again in 2006.
