Dennis Matheis and his wife, Vicky, sold a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 6 Berkshire Dr. in Richmond Heights for $803,000 to Brenda and Thomas Ridnour on Dec. 5, 2007.
The Ridnours paid $850,000 for the property in June 2004.
The 3,322 square foot home was built in 1940.
It was listed for $949,000 when it appeared on the market in Nov. 2006. Liz Little of Edward L. Bakewell, Inc. was the agent for the sale.
Mr. Matheis has held a variety of management positions in the health insurance sector, most recently for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Missouri, where he served as president of their Anthem Division. Before that he was general manager of large group benefits.
He also worked as chief executive for Advocate Health Partners, president and general manager of Cigna HealthCare, president of Humana Health Plans of Kansas and Missouri and president of Health Partners of the Midwest.
He began his career in accounting with Coopers & Lybrand.
Mr. Ridnour has served as executive vice president of Trizec Properties, Inc., a self-managed real estate investment trust. He has also held the positions of senior vice president and regional vice president out of their Dallas office.
Mrs. Ridnour has worked as a commercial real estate agent with CB Richard Ellis in Dallas.
Home sales in Richmond Heights were down about nine percent in 2007 versus 2006. Median home sale prices also slipped, down four percent or $9,000 from an average of $225,000 to $216,000.
According to BlockShopper Metrics, median home sales have been rising steadily since 1999 before dipping slightly in 2006.
