Fatme Ramadan and her husband, Ziad S., bought a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 1730 Woodmore Oaks Dr. in Manchester for $305,000 from David W. and Donna Volk on Nov. 30, 2007.
The 2,083 square foot home was built in 1983. It was listed for $319,000 when it appeared on the market in Sept. 2007.
Teresa F. Lessaris with Prudential Select Properties was the agent for the sale.
Mr. Volk is president and CEO of Volk Construction, a company started by his father, David Volk Sr. In 2005, Volk Jr. served as chairman of the board for the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis.
Mrs. Volk is an ESL teacher with the Parkway School District in Chesterfield.
Manchester home sales increased two percent through September 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period also rose $12,000 from $198,000 in 2006 to $210,000 in 2007.
Median sales prices have risen steadily in Manchester since 1999, with a slight dip in 2001, according to BlockShopper Metrics.
