Financial planner sheds Wildwood 4BD for $522.5K

Scott Tatum and his wife, Lori, sold their four-bedroom, 4.5 bath in Wildwood at 17703 Vintage Oak Dr. for $522,500 to Stephen and Kelly Howerter on Dec. 4.

The Tatums paid $518,000 for the home in June 2004.

Ann Aranda of Keller Williams Southwest listed the 4,292 square foot home for $549,900. It was built in 2000.

Mr. Tatum is a certified financial planner and regional vice president with MFS Fund Distributors, Inc.

Home sales in Wildwood dropped 20 percent through Nov. 30, 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, rose $10,000, from $355,000 to $365,000.

According to BlockShopper Metrics, median home sales prices in Wildwood have risen steadily since 1999.
