Home sales in University City dropped 32 percent through Sept. 2007 versus the same period in 2006. The median sales price also fell, going from $173,000 in 2006 to $123,000 in 2007.

After a dip in 2000, median home sales prices in University City rose steadily before falling back again in 2004. A recovery in 2005 preceded a sharp drop in 2006.
