Britton Pim and his wife, Colleen, sold their four-bedroom, three bath at 6942 Kingsbury Blvd. in University City for $505,000 to Scott and Mary Schultz on Jan. 7.
The Pims paid $310,000 for the home in Aug. 2001.
Maria Elias of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $519,000.
Mr. Pim is the director of strategic business development at Ascension Health Ventures in St. Louis.
Mrs. Pim is the senior director of business process improvement at St. Louis pharmaceutical company Express Scripts, Inc.
Home sales in University City dropped 13 percent through Nov. 30, 2007 versus the same period in 2006. Median home sale prices also dropped from $155,000 in 2006 to $130,000 last year.
According to BlockShopper Metrics, median home sales in Richmond Heights rose steadily from 1999 to 2003, before dropping off in 2004. They rose in 2005 and dropped again in 2006.
