Robert Insalaco and his wife, Erin, bought a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 1901 Bentwood Ct. in Chesterfield for $350,000 from Angelo and Sheridan Insalaco on Feb. 19.

Mr. Insalaco is the general manager of AMS Automotive in Fenton. He's served in that role since 1993 and began working with the company as a sales representative in 1987.

He previously worked as a senior account representative at the Missouri Bolt Company.

Home sales in Chesterfield dropped 12 percent in 2007. The median sale price also dropped $1,000 last year, from $331,000 in 2006 to $330,000 in 2007.

Median home sales prices in Chesterfield have risen steadily since 1999, according to BlockShopper Metrics.
