Scott Woley and his wife, Rayme, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 16709 Kehrsgrove Dr. in Clarkson Valley for $590,000 from Dr. Klark Exarhou and his wife, Pauline, on Feb. 15.

The Exarhous paid $273,000 for the home in Sept. 1992.

Mrs. Exarhou, who is a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Gundaker, was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $599,900.

Mr. Woley has served as the superintendent of instrumentation and system control for the Laclede Gas Company in St. Louis. He was promoted to the position in Dec. 2001 after serving for five years as the superintendent of system control since 1996. He joined the company in 1985.

He earned his M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis (1990) and his bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri ('85).

Dr. Exarhou is a general surgeon in the St. Louis area.

Mrs. Exarhou has been a licensed real estate agent since 1997.

The Exarhous are also the co-owners of the Greek Gourmet restaurant in Creve Coeur.

Home sales in Clarkson Valley rose 35 percent in 2007. The median price remained the same, at $607,000.

Median sales prices in Clarkson Valley rose steadily from 1999-2005 before dropping in 2006, according to BlockShopper Metrics.
