Dr. Balzer is an associate professor of pediatrics at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He works in the school's division of pediatric cardiology and also serves the school's cardiac catheterization laboratory.

He sees patients at the St. Louis Children's Hospital and is affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

He earned his M.D. from St. Louis University School of Medicine (1985) and his bachelor's from the University of Missouri-Columbia ('81).

Home sales in Oakville dropped 21 percent in 2007. The median price over that time period also slipped $15,000, from $225,000 to $210,000.
