Boyd Bradshaw bought a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 7344 Stream Valley Ct. in Oakville for $400,000 from Kenneth and Tara Nadler on Feb. 12.
The Nadlers paid $364,000 for the home in Nov. 2005. It was built in 1999.
Cindy Puricelli of RE/MAX Gold real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $429,900.
Mr. Bradshaw is a vice provost at St. Louis University. He's held the job since May 2007, after he served in a similar role as the assistant university provost for enrollment services at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Ky.
Prior to joining the staff at Louisville in 2006, he served as the assistant vice chancellor for enrollment management and the director of admission at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He has also worked in college admissions at St. Louis University and Eastern Illinois University.
He earned his Ph.D. in education administration from St. Louis University and his bachelor's from Eastern Illinois University.
Home sales in Oakville dropped 21 percent in 2007. The median price over that time period also slipped $15,000, from $225,000 to $210,000.
