Diana G. Fendya and her husband, Michael, sold a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 1010 Cabernet Dr. in Town & Country to Cheryl and David Lauer for $685,100 on March 14.
The 3,560 square foot house was built in 1982.
Mrs. Fendya, a registered nurse, is both an educator and a clinician. She works as an instructor at the St. Louis University School of Nursing and has worked as a trauma nurse specialist in an urban pediatric trauma center for 18 years. She also served on the advisory board of Traumatec.
In 2004, she was appointed as a commissioner to the Missouri Emergency Response Commission. Prior to this, she was a member of the Governor's Advisory Council for the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
Mrs. Fendya graduated from the St. Louis University School of Nursing.
Mr. and Mrs. Lauer own a home at 16 St. Alfred Drive in Olivette, which they bought in 2002. The property is currently on the market.
Home sales in Town & Country dropped 17 percent in 2007. The median sales price rose by two percent, from $652,000 in 2006 to $665,000 in 2007.
