Dr. Myron Dmytryszyn and Marietta K. Abele sold their four-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 12905 Timmor Ct. in Town & Country for $495,000 to Dollar Development Co. LLC on April 16.

The 2,474 square foot house was built in 1967.

Dr. Dmytryszyn has served as an affiliate professor in the Department of Engineering and Policy at Washington University in St. Louis. He is also a retired 40-year veteran of the Monsanto Company, rising to the role of general manager of the Technology Division for the Monsanto Chemical Intermediate Company before his retirement in 1987.

He earned his doctorate, master's and bachelor's degrees all in chemical engineering from Washington University.

Home sales in Town & Country dropped more than 17 percent in 2007. Median sales prices, however, rose $13,000 last year, from $652,000 in 2006 to $665,000 in 2007.
