The Wieles paid $235,000 for the property in March 1989.

Carolyn Tumminia of Prudential Select Properties real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $475,000 when it appeared on the market in January.

Dr. Kimberly Wiele is an assistant professor of diagnostic radiology and breast imaging at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at the Washington University School of Medicine. She sees patients at the Center for Advanced Medicine at the Joanne Knight Breast Health Center in St. Louis. She is also affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She earned her M.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (1981) and her bachelor's from the school in 1978. She completed her residency at the St. Louis University Medical Center.

Dr. Robert D. Wiele is the chief of the emergency medicine division at the Progress West Healthcare Center in O'Fallon. He earned his M.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Mrs. Chambers is an occupational therapy student worker at the Doisy College of Health Sciences at St. Louis University.

Home sales in Des Peres rose nearly four percent in 2007. The median sales price, however, dropped $17,000 last year, from $370,000 in 2006 to $353,000 in 2007.
