Dr. Pervez A. Alvi and his wife, Nafisa, sold their four-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 407 Isabella Manor Ct. in Chesterfield for $765,000 to Dr. Andrea Holthaus and her husband, Christophe, on April 4.

The Alvis paid $577,629 for the home in January 2002. The 4,064 square foot house was built in 2001.

Patricia Blazevich of RE/MAX Properties West was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $780,000.

Dr. Alvi has worked as a cardiologist for the Cardiovascular Institute at the Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Mo., which is just over 100 miles Northwest of St. Louis.

He earned his M.D. from the Dow Medical College at the University of Karachi in Pakistan. He finished his residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago and completed his fellowship in cardiology at the Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago.

The Alvis paid $1.7 million for a home in Town & Country on April 8.

Dr. Holthaus practices medicine at the St. Louis branch of IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc.

Prior to joining IPC, Dr. Holthaus had a private practice in New Bern, N.C. She received her M.D. from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Home sales in Chesterfield dropped seven percent in 2007. The median sale price, however, increased $5,000 last year, from $325,000 in 2006 to $330,000 in 2007.
