Susan Werremeyer and her husband, Robert, bought a six-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 6810 Waterman Ave. in University City for $510,000 from Erin and Michael Forestener on April 4.
The Foresteners paid $420,000 for the property in July 2003. The home was built in 1920.
Tina Weir of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $539,000.
Mrs. Werremeyer is the co-owner of Carlton Werremeyer, a St. Louis fundraising, public relations and special events planning company. She helped found the company in 2005 after four years spent as the director of development and communications with the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis.
She also spent four years as the director of development and communications at the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and the orchestra's music schools.
She earned her bachelor's from Saint Louis University (1992).
Home sales in University City dropped more than six percent in 2007. The median sale price also dropped $20,000 last year, from $180,000 in 2006 to $160,000 in 2007.
