Anesthesiologist buys from plastics exec in Chesterfield

Dr. Jane E. Kosa bought a one-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 687 Stonebrook Ct. in Chesterfield for $445,500 from Russell F. Gervais on April 23.

Gervais paid $426,000 for the home in Feb. 2004. The 1,926 square foot house was built in 2000.

Thomas King of RE/MAX Suburban real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $449,500.

Dr. Kosa is a surgical and pediatric anesthesiologist at Western Anesthesiology Associates, Inc. in Ballwin.

She received her M.D. from the West Virginia University School of Medicine.

Gervais has been an executive vice president at Silgan Holdings, Inc. since October 2007. The company is a consumer goods packaging company based in Connecticut.

He previously served as president of the Silgan Plastics Corporation, a Chesterfield subsidiary of Silgan Holdings, Inc. that manufactures plastic containers. Before joining Silgan, Mr. Gervais was president and CEO of Aim Packaging, Inc.

Home sales in Chesterfield have increased 37 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, has dropped $5,000, from $330,000 in 2007 to $325,000 in 2008.
