Steven J. Stolze bought a two-bedroom, one bath at 12980 Starhill Dr. in Unincorporated South County for $445,000 from Dr. Brent D. Bankhead and his wife, Laurice, on April 28.

The Bankheads paid $335,000 for the home in October. The 1,176 square foot house was built in 1946.

Regina Spencer of Realty Executives of St. Louis was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $525,000 when it appeared on the market in July 2007.

Stolze is a member of the mediator panel of the United States Arbitration and Mediation Midwest Inc., based in St. Louis.

Prior to concentrating his practice to mediations, Mr. Stolze was a trial lawyer. He practiced at the firms of Armstrong Teasdale LLP, Schlichter, Bogard and Denton, as well as Rathmann, Holland and Stolze.

He eanred his bachelor's from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law.

Dr. Bankhead is an orthodontist at Bankhead Orthodontics, which has offices in O'Fallon, Wentzville and Columbia, Mo.

He earned his D.D.S. from the University of Iowa and his bachelor's from Brigham Young University. He received his master's in dentistry from Saint Louis University.

Home sales in Unincorporated South County have dropped 14.1 percent thus far this year. The median sale price has also dropped $9,000 this year, from $180,000 in 2007 to $171,000 in 2008.
