Brian D. Klar and his wife, Dana, sold their four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 18 Rockwood Forest Glen in Wildwood for $350,000 to Craig Johnston and Stacy A. Barnes on April 23.

The Klars paid $270,000 for the home in April 1999. The 2,876 square foot house was built in 1978.

Catherine Shaw-Connely of Tom Shaw Realtors was the agent the sale. The home was listed for $384,000 when it appeared on the market in November.

Mr. Klar is a partner at St. Louis law firm Klar, Izsak and Stenger, LLC. His areas of practice include personal injury, business legal counsel, business and commercial litigation and criminal law.

He has also worked at Thompson and Mitchell in Belleville. He received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law and his bachelor's from the University of Vermont.

Mrs. Klar is an attorney and the founding and interim director of the Kathryn M. Buder Center for American Indian Studies at Washington University in St. Louis.

Home sales in Wildwood have risen 28.4 percent thus far this year. The median sales price, however, has dropped $25,000 this year, from $355,000 in 2007 to $330,000 in 2008.
