Olin School adjunct professor seeking $1.625M in Clayton

Martin K. Sneider and his wife, Jill, have listed their five-bedroom, 5.1 bath at
6420 Ellenwood Ave. in Clayton for $1.625 million.
The Sneiders paid $773,750 for the home in March 1989, a year after the home was built.
Marcy Byrne of Janet McAfee Inc. real estate is the listing agent for the 4,255 square foot home.
Mr. Sneider is an adjunct professor of marketing at Washington University's Olin School of Business in St. Louis. He's been on the faculty there since 1992, teaching classes at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
He is also the former president of Edison Brothers Stores Inc., the defunct St. Louis retail chain that once owned 80 percent of Dave & Buster's before going public with the company in 1995. He became president of Edison Brothers in 1985 and eventually resigned from the Dave & Buster's board of directors in 1997.
Home sales in
Clayton dropped more than 12 percent in 2007. The median sale price, however, increased $33,000 last year, from $478,000 in 2006 to $511,000 in 2007.
