Janet Guptill Geidel and her husband, Bryan, sold their four-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 82 Yorkshire Lane Ct. in Brentwood for $588,500 to Carrie A. Dunne on May 5.

The Geidels paid $375,000 for the home in April 1998. It was built in 1997.

Karen Homeke of the Coldwell Banker Premier Group was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $620,000 when it appeared on the market in February.

Guptill Geidel is the president of KM At Work, Inc., a home-based St. Louis company that specializes in providing project direction and resource management for healthcare organizations.

She was previously vice president of knowledge management for Partners First, a subsidiary of Ascension Health. She has held senior level positions for Care Science, Solucient, Ernst and Young and the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics. She has also worked as an adjunct faculty member of knowledge management at Webster University.

Guptill Geidel earned her master's in health systems management from Tulane University and a bachelor's in health administration from the University of Arizona.

The couple also bought a four-bedroom condo for $620,000 in Chicago on Aug. 23, 2007.

Home sales in Brentwood have declined 8.9 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, has risen from $164,000 to $185,000 during the same period.
