TV station manager spends $600K for Ellisville 4BD

Robert G. Totsch and his wife, Elizabeth, bought a four-bedroom, four bath at 1290 Polo Lake Dr. in Ellisville for $600,000 from Troy S. Baker and his wife, Dana, on May 21.

The Bakers paid $630,000 for the home in April 2006. The 5,164 square foot house was built in 2001.

Tamara Weiner of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $685,000 when it appeared on the market in September.

Mr. Totsch is the general sales manager at KMOV-TV, the CBS affiliate in St. Louis.

The Totsches sold their four-bedroom home at 712 Payson Dr. in Olivette for $780,000 on May 19.

Home sales in Ellisville have increased 48 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, has dropped from $220,000 in 2007 to $170,000 so far this year.
