Glenn C. Hillam and his wife, Deborah, bought a four-bedroom, four bath at 2 Currier and Ives Lane in Eureka for $615,000 from Robert Busby and his wife, Jill, on May 7.

The Busbys paid $549,745 for the property in June 2007. The 3,573 square foot house was built in 1999.

Mr. Hillam is the chief information officer at The Outsource Group, a human resources firm headquartered in St. Louis. He also owns a consulting business that specializes in the design and architecture of business intelligence solutions.

He has previously worked as a consultant for Specialized Receivables, Federated Department Stores and Suburban Energy. He also served as a general manager and director at WordPerfect, Novell and Crystal Decisions.

Home sales in Eureka have dropped 21.7 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price has also dropped from $229,000 in 2007 to $217,000 so far this year.
