The 2,074-square-foot house was built in 1953.
Kitsy Sheahan of Jon Mendelson Realtors was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $399,000.
Mr. Franklin is an attorney with The Lowenbaum Partnership, L.L.C., a law firm in Clayton. He joined The Lowenbaum Partnership from St. Louis-based firm McMahon, Berger, Hanna, Linihan, Cody and McCarthy.
He earned his bachelor's from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.
Mrs. Franklin is an executive director of Kids Enjoy Exercise Now. She joined KEEN St. Louis in August 2006.
She previously worked as the clinical manager of the weight management and eating disorders program for the Washington University School of Medicine. She received a master's degree in child clinical psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Mr. Holland is a partner in the St. Louis office of Holland, Groves, Schneller and Stolze, LLC, a trial practice firm with other offices in Detroit and Chicago. He concentrates his law practice on litigation, specifically to catastrophic railroad and trucking accidents and commercial litigation.
He earned his J.D. from the St. Louis University School of Law and his bachelor's in political science from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
Home sales in Webster Groves have risen 14.3 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price has dropped from $210,000 in 2007 to $179,000 so far this year.
