Soverin Karmiol and his wife, Erika Gentsch, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 7400 Williams Ave. in Richmond Heights for $364,000 from Richard Coppola and his wife, Patricia, on May 2.
The Coppolas paid $388,000 for the property in Oct. 2003. The 2,031-square-foot house was built in 1929.
Kay Basta of Barb Summers and Associates real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $396,900.
Karmiol currently serves a manager in the St. Louis office of Sigma Aldrich, a biochemical and organic chemical company that offers products and kits used in scientific and genome research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical development and other high-technology manufacturing.
He graduated from University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.
Home sales in Richmond Heights have dropped 2.6 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price has also dropped $22,000 this year, from $204,000 in 2007 to $182,000 so far this year.
