Dr. Robert E. Kraetsch and his wife, Patricia, sold a two-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 14340 Spyglass Ridge in Chesterfield for $630,000 to Elizabeth L. Bryan on June 27.

The Kraetsches paid $465,000 for the property in March 2001. The 2,674-square-foot house was built in 1993.

Dorothy Midgley of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $650,000.

Dr. Kraetsch is a board certified internist, hematologist and medical oncologist at the Missouri Cancer Care in St. Charles. He is also affiliated with Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in St. Peters and SSM St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis.

He also serves as an adjunct associate professor of medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He received his M.D. from the Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Barnes Jewish Hospital and his fellowship at University of Rochester in New York.

Home sales in Chesterfield are up 37 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, has dropped $5,000 this year, from $330,000 in 2007 to $325,000 in 2008.
