Mark H. Drajeske and his wife, Michelle, sold their four-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 338 Strawbridge Dr. in Chesterfield for $365,000 to Dale G. Darby and his wife, Sherri, on June 30.

The Drajeskes paid $275,000 for the property in Feb. 2001. The 2,692-square-foot was built in 1980.

Deborah Londoff of the Kelsey Group Realtors was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $385,000 when it appeared on the market in March.

Mr. Drajeske is a simulation software specialist in the St. Louis office of Boeing, the aerospace giant. He currently serves as the synthetic environments team lead for Boeing's training systems and services division.

He previously served as a lead programmer for Electronic Arts, as research engineer at Cybernet Systems and as senior software engineer at FAAC Incorporated. He also worked as a flight control research engineer at the McDonnell Aircraft Company.

He graduated from Purdue University.

Mrs. Drajeske works at Smart Media USA as the company's area trainer in St. Louis.

The Drajeskes bought a four-bedroom home at 14936 Country Ridge Dr. in Chesterfield for $405,000 on April 18.

Home sales in Chesterfield are up 37 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, has dropped $5,000 this year, from $330,000 in 2007 to $325,000 in 2008.
