Cable company fiscal director spends $482K in Ballwin

Justin Freesmeier and his wife, Dala, bought a four-bedroom, four bath home at 903 Castle Pines Dr. in Ballwin for $482,000 from Gavin T. Meier and his wife, Christine, on June 10.

The Meiers paid $380,000 for the property in May 2003. The 3,205-square-foot house was built in 1999.

Sharon Winter of Laura McCarthy-Town and Country real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $499,900.

Mr. Freesmeier is a director of fiscal operations with Suddenlink Communications, a cable broadband provider based in the U.S. The company operates in 19 states in primarily medium-sized communities with approximately 1.3 million subscribers.

He received his bachelor's degrees in business administration and management information systems from Westminster College in Fulton, Mo. and holds an M.B.A. from University of Missouri-Saint Louis.

Home sales in Ballwin are down 6.5 percent in 2008. The median sales price has dropped from $218,000 in 2007 to $212,000 so far this year.
