Mergers consultant buys Ballwin 4BD

Robb F. Degraw and his wife, Jennifer, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 906 Castle Pines Dr. in Ballwin for $412,500 from Donald M. Hennon and his wife, Julie, on June 26.

The Hennons paid $310,000 for the property in Nov. 2000. The 3,115-square-foot house was built in 1998.

Jan Blassie of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $430,000 when it appeared on the market in February.

Mr. Degraw is a lawyer and a consultant in the mergers and acquisitions department of the Aon Corporation, a global provider of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and human capital consulting with an office in St. Louis.

Home sales in Ballwin are down 6.5 percent in 2008. The median sales price has dropped from $218,000 in 2007 to $212,000 so far this year.
