Todd M. Vande Hei and his wife, Laura, sold their four-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 1204 Hillcrest Field Dr. in Chesterfield for $554,000 to John M. Olson Jr. and his wife, Lise, on June 25.

The Vande Heis paid $478,000 for the property in Oct. 2004. The 3,255-square-foot house was built in 1994.

Donna Cox of Barry Upchurch Realty was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $556,000.

Mr. Vande Hei has served as the director of Rubicon Financial Inc., a financial service firm in Irvine, Calif., since July 2007.

Previously, he held several senior positions at Fabrica International, a Santa Ana, Calif.-based carpet and rug manufacturer, distributor, importer and exporter. Fabrica International is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Dixie Group in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he served also served various executive positions. Earlier, he was the owner-operator of a manufacturers' agency in the flooring industry and a regional VP of Shaw Industries, a division of Berkshire Hathaway.

He also held the position of group president for College Craft Enterprises, managing the Chicago metropolitan area's operations, sales and marketing.

Home sales in Chesterfield are up 37 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, has dropped $5,000 this year, from $330,000 in 2007 to $325,000 in 2008.
