Howard J. Demsky and his wife, Jamie, sold their four-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 134 Ladue Farm Rd. in Chesterfield for $560,000 to William Karabas and his wife, Michelle, on June 19.

The Demskys paid $460,000 for the property in Dec. 2001. The 3,376-square-foot house was built in 1981.

Letty DeMay of RealtyNet DeMay was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $624,900 when it appeared on the market in April.

Mr. Demsky serves as vice president of planning and development for the Busch Entertainment Corp., the family entertainment division of the Anheuser-Busch Cos. The subsidiary relocated its headquarters from St. Louis to Orlando, Fla. this year.

Home sales in Chesterfield are up 37 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, has dropped $5,000 this year, from $330,000 in 2007 to $325,000 in 2008.
