Emerson Storage exec, Boeing VP swap for $950K in Clarkson Valley

Patrick J. Sly and his wife, Mary, sold a five-bedroom, four bath home at 2024 Kingspointe Dr. in Clarkson Valley for $950,000 to Debra Rub-Zenko on June 26.
The Slys paid $765,000 for the property in June 1999. The 4,838-square-foot house was built in 1990.
Linda West of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $1.1 million when it appeared on the market in December.
Mr. Sly serves as executive vice president for Emerson Storage Solutions and Professional Tools, a diversified global manufacturing and technology company based in St. Louis.
He joined Emerson in 1980 as national sales manager for power tools. He subsequently held several positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as executive vice president in 2000.
He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan., and his M.B.A. from Saint Louis University.
Rub-Zenko is vice president and program director of integrated missile defense for The Boeing Co. She was appointed to this position in June 2001 and is currently based in Anaheim, Calif.
Rub-Zenko has served The Boeing Co. for over 25 years, holding varied assignments in engineering, finance and program management. She received her B.S. degrees in finance and mathematics from the University of California-Riverside.
Home sales in
Clarkson Valley are down 26 percent so far in 2008. The median sales price is down from $607,000 in 2007 to $538,000 so far this year.
