Industrial equipment exec buys in Chesterfield

John R. Zeuschel and his wife, Carole, bought a two-bedroom, two bath home at 15404 Braefield Dr. in Chesterfield for $300,000 from Richie and Paulette Malone on June 3.

The Malones paid $239,000 for the property in Nov. 1998. The 1,564-square-foot house was built in 1996.

Judy Korn of RE/MAX Properties West real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $319,000.

Mr. Zeuschel has served as president of Zeuschel Equipment Company, a manufacturer and distributor of industrial equipment that maintains an office in St. Louis.

Home sales in Chesterfield are up 37 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, has dropped $5,000 this year, from $330,000 in 2007 to $325,000 in 2008.
