The 2,648-square-foot house was built in 1990.

Jerry Bentrup of The Kelsey Group Realtors was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $559,900 when it appeared on the market in Aug. 2007.

Mr. Garnett is a realtor with Schneider and Garnett, a real estate firm in Ballwin.

He is a member of the Missouri Association of Realtors.

Home sales in Chesterfield are up 37 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, has dropped $5,000 this year, from $330,000 in 2007 to $325,000 in 2008.
