Dr. Steven Pisoni and his wife, Dr. Tamara Ostapowicz-Pisoni, sold their five-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 2815 N. Geyer Rd. in Frontenac for $850,000 to Roger J. Johnson and his wife, Kelly, on June 3.

The 3,562-square-foot home was built in 1958 and remodeled in 1981.

Joel Svoboda of RE/MAX Results real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $924,900 when it appeared on the market in January.

Dr. Pisoni practices internal medicine for the Southwest Medical Center in St. Louis. He joined Southwest in 1983, after previously serving as the Chief Medical Resident and a clinical instructor at St. Louis University Hospital.

He received his M.D. from St. Louis University Medical School.

Dr. Ostapowicz-Pisoni is an obstetrician/gynecologist practicing in St. Louis. She received her M.D. from the St Louis University School Of Medicine.

Home sales in Frontenac are up 6.4 percent thus far in 2008. The median sales price, however, has dropped from $660,000 in 2007 to $408,000 so far this year.
