John Baliva and his wife, Dorian, bought a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 843 Burgundy Lane in Manchester for $413,000 from Jeffrey T. Mayse and his wife, Shannon, on June 10.
The Mayses paid $355,000 for the property in July 2003. The 2,453-square-foot house was built in 1989.
Cindy Baker of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $439,000 when it appeared on the market in February.
Mr. Baliva serves as an administrative assistant in the sign department of Paramount Convention Services, Inc., a St. Louis-based professional full-service company that coordinates trade shows, conventions and special events.
Mrs. Baliva serves as office manager at Paramount Convention Services, Inc.
Mr. Mayse serves as parts manager at Masters Equipment, a St. Louis-based manufacturer's representative and full line distributor for a wide variety of HVAC equipment.
Home sales in Manchester are down 25.3 percent in 2008. The median sales price is also down from $204,000 in 2007 to $193,000 so far this year.
