Dr. Paolo R. Salvalaggio and his wife, Denise, sold a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 10412 Garibaldi Place in Frontenac's West End Park for $482,000 to Seung K. Kim and his wife, Jung Ok Lee, on July 8.

The Salvalaggios paid $468,050 for the 2,322-square-foot house in June 2005, the same year it was built.

Dr. Salvalaggio practices general surgery at SLUCare in St. Louis.

He received his M.D. from the Federal University School of Medicine of Parana, Brazil. He completed both his internship and residency at Nossa Senhora Das Gracas Hospital in Brazil and his fellowship at Yale University.

Home sales in Frontenac are up 6.4 percent thus far in 2008. The median sales price, however, has dropped from $660,000 in 2007 to $408,000 so far this year.
