Haider Nazar and his wife, Sabena, sold a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 2 Brookside Lane in Ladue for $815,000 to Benjamin J. Armstrong and his wife, Carolyn, on July 21.
The Nazars paid $695,000 for the property in March 2003.
The 3,341-square-foot house was built in 1939.
Mr. Nazar currently serves as CEO of Kemco Tool and Machine Co., a St. Louis-based contract manufacturer in the aerospace and defense industry.
Mr. Nazar joined the company in 2002, when his father-in-law, Rafath Ali, asked him to become part of the company. In 2003, he became the vice president of Kemco.
Prior to Kemco, Mr. Nazar was based in San Franciso, Calif., where he founded Recipio, a high tech customer-relationship management company, which he sold in 2002. He also served as director of alliances at CrossWorlds Software Inc., a software company that went public in 2000 and was sold to IBM. He started his career with Accenture.
Home sales in Ladue have risen 2.6 percent thus far in 2008 versus 2007. The median sale price has also risen from $714,000 in 2007 to $725,000 so far this year.
