Puja Goyal and her husband, Sameer, sold a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 345 Carr Manor Court in Unincorporated West County for $300,000 to Chandrashekar Dasari and Jyothirmai Mongam on July 28.
The Goyals paid $261,088 for the 2,452-square-foot house in Oct. 2002, the same year it was built.
Mrs. Goyal is a graphic designer based in Ballwin.
She's previously worked on marketing and promotional printed materials for clients such as Husaka Steels, Standard Electricals, Greenland 44 and House of India in St. Louis.
She has a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Guru Nanak Dev University in India. She also studied commercial arts at Guru Nanak Dev University and fashion designing at the International Institute of Fashion Technology, also in India. She holds a graphic design certification from Meramec Community College in St. Louis.
Dasari currently works for Anheuser-Busch and has worked with BellSouth and Capgemini in the past.
He received an M.S. in electrical engineering from Southern Illinois University.
Home sales in Unincorporated West County are up 26.9 percent thus far in 2008. The median sales price, however, has declined from $190,000 in 2007 from $186,000 so far this year.
