Matthew C. Dudenhoeffer bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 201 Timber Wind Dr. in Wildwood's Timber Ridge Estates for $353,000 from Prudential Relocation, Inc., on July 8.
The 2,820-square-foot house was built in 1990.
Dudenhoeffer is the guitarist for the Jefferson City-based industrial rock band band Gravity Kills.
The group was formed in 1994 and recorded their first album, Gravity Kills, on TVT Records in 1996. They went on to make two more records with TVT and made appearances in the soundtracks for Mortal Kombat and Seven.
The band broke up in 2003, but in 2005 reunited to play the local The Killoween Freakshow Halloween music festival.
Home sales in Wildwood have increased 28.4 percent in 2008. The median sales price, however, has dropped seven percent, from $355,000 in 2007 to $330,000 so far this year.
