Real estate firm office manager buys in Oakville

Christopher S. Matoushek and his wife, Samantha, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 2472 Boardwalk Place Dr. in Oakville from Michael J. King and his wife, Laura, for $360,000 on July 24.

The Kings paid $277,000 for the property in August 2001.

The 2,628-square-foot house was built in 1997.

Mr. Matoushek works as a realtor and office manager for Realty Executives. He's also an office manager with Realty Executives' St. Louis office.

Home sales in Oakville CDP dropped 24.7 thus far in 2008. The median sales price also slipped from $208,000 in 2007 to $201,000 so far this year.
