Java developer acquires Chesterfield home

Rajeev K. Namireddy and his wife, Shravani, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 16831 Crystal Springs Dr. in Chesterfield for $330,000 from Gregory J. Nilles on July 1.

Nilles paid $275,000 for the property on April 4.

The 2,200-square-foot house, which was built in 1994, was listed for as much as $349,000.

Mr. Namireddy is a senior Java developer at Monsanto. He was previously a senior Java developer for AT&T, where he worked for over six years.

He graduated from Bradley University.

Home sales in Chesterfield are down 17 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, dropped from $330,000 in 2007 to $321,000 in 2008.
